That Kratos isn't there in ToS 2 doesn't mean that he vanishes in 1
At a certain timing you have to choose between keeping Kratos or Zelos

Well, Artes aren't really a regular in TOS, i got to use the falcon's crest only once or twice, but Zelos doesn't really have anything special in the American game, Kratos has Judgement, in japanese Zelos has judgement
