This was intense.

Three out of four panels are pretty self explanatory, but here's a bit more on the one that isn't:

Panel 3: Though Malachi feels everything in life has made him who he is today, his tenure at Duskfire shook him deeply, and opened his eyes to his flaws and shortcomings, which he had ignored and brushed off before. He believes he would be a much different wolf if he hadn't lived through the consequences of his mistakes there, yet he still wishes he had known differently then, and so could have spared the pain endured by so many wolves on account of his own foolish decisions.

Also, watch out Holly. Malachi's out to figure you out (:
