Description
An illustration from an ongoing roleplay between Malachi and BlueStrike2434 's Holly. Due to school it has taken much longer to complete the roleplay than anticipated, but as I am graduated now, the end is hopefully soon, my friend... the end is hopefully soon...
Until then, may this satisfy and hopefully make up for the delay in responding (: I might still touch a few things up, but we shall see. I love Holly, and am looking forward to seeing how the relationship of these two develops over time! They definitely hit off with a rather ... unconventional start haha!

Can I ask a question? How does Roleplaying work? Do you pick a character and act out a story as them?

Of course! I'm not very good at explanations, but I will do my best (: You've essentially got the idea of roleplaying down. I'd describe it as collaborative storytelling, in which you control the actions of your character, and your character alone. You write with other people, who control their own characters, and create a story through these (often unpredictable) interactions. The unknown of how the other character will respond is probably what makes roleplaying so enjoyable.
Have you ever roleplayed before? Or are you thinking about trying it out? (:

Technically yes on a site called Shamchat. But I don't think it's the same thing as this. Shamchat is like Chat Roulette or Omegle, but you pretend to be whichever username you pick. It's not as.... reliable as other forms of roleplay because the other person can leave the chat behind without a trace and leave you hanging.
But that's pretty much where my roleplay experience ends.
