I sculpted it in clay and made a mold, with a cast in foamed cubex.

I definitely think this should win. Many other entries may have a higher megapixel camera, or more expensive image editing software, but this one actually looks real. I hope you win the contest and godspeed.

Sculpted it in clay, made a negative plaster mold, then made a positive casting out of gel foamed cubex.

what if...the whole world became zomibes...but not flesh eating ones...(well...maybe a little....) and we all got along in a new world order. this zombie kinda looks like someone who had it rough, not really a mindless monster.
hes got like a homeless feel to him. like he doesnt know what to do with himself, but something still inside ticking.
being a zombie is rough.
( i talked to a homeless guy once. interesting people. )

I love the pock mark/decay holes on the cheeks. I am not sure if the eyebrows are part of the appliance or if the appliance/makeup is just blended that well, so SPLENDID in that regard! The teeth are beautiful!
the smoky appearance of the eyes...contacts or just camera effects? I cant tell for sure. Ive never seen zombie type scleras with the iris and all, but the iris is so bold that im not convinced those are your own eyes
The hair as well is very convincing! Is this part of the appliance or your own pulled through?
Im guessing this is painted foam latex, and the teeth probably liquid latex because of the slight translucence?
Also, i dont see air holes for the nose. How breathable is this?
All around, fantastic work, I am jealous of your sculpting skills for sure! Those teeth are just gritty and with the hair pull the whole thing right out!

Wow, quite the in depth analysis! haha I appreciate it though!
The eyes were just touched up in post, no contacts, too broke.
The appliance its self is made from foam gelatin called Cubex, even the teeth. All of it was painted with cheap Wal-Mart acrylic paint.
As for the nose, it was kind of tough to breathe out of, but there were tiny nose holes.
The hair was just from some cheap Halloween wig, I just ripped it out and used some spirit gum to attach it to the bald cap.
One again, thanks a lot!
