Me as Nephenee from Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, worn last weekend at Tracon IV.This costume gave me a lot of trouble, mainly the armor parts. I'm happy with how it looks all together in the end, but heck if it wasn't uncomfortable to wear.
I made this mainly for a Fire Emblem group, but unfortunately all the other members dropped out a few days before the con. D: FE is one of my favourite series and Nephenee's my fave character so this was a good chance to cosplay her.
All the armor pieces are made from craft foam. You can't see the arm pieces at all here, I might upload another photo later.

I'm pretty sure I've commented on cosplay.com already, but this costume truly astounds me! You did such a wonderful job with it, even if it wasn't comfortable! FE characters are my favorite cosplay characters, I hope to see more pictures if you make anyone else!

I love their designs too, they're so detailed and just beautiful. FE is definitely my favorite series in terms of their character designs. I hope you get to do more as well, and I can't wait to see them if/when you do!

But how did you make the weapon? I'm going to be Pit for Sakura Con and I wanted to know what materials I need to make a weapon of any sort.

The base of my lance is wooden, details are done with craft foam and the...what's it called, the weapon part XD; is made from some sort of insulation foam.

I'm sure you'd be able to find craft foam in most craft stores. As for insulation foam and wooden dowels, I'd look in a... store which sells all kinds of building supplies and materials. I'm sorry, my English fails.

Cosplay is cosplay. Can't get it perfect, but people try to get it as close as possible. Outside of human characteristics (which isn't as bothersome unless for other reasons), the only things that are odd would be the helmet and shield. Other than that, it looks like it came out pretty well. Good job on it!
