Okay.
first of all:
oh jeez the coloring. that skin is wonderfully done. seriously it looks really well done. I especially love his arms. man those are well done.
and that hand. seriously this piece has such wonderful anatomy. especially the muscles in the arms. the pose looks very natural as well and not posed at all.
the only thing that I think looks a little odd is the smoke coming from his cigarette. I'm not even sure how to describe, but it's a small detail so It doesn't take away from the piece at all.
THE BACKGROUND. come on lazy pants. I don't know how many of these I've seen you do. Unless this is part of a group that you're making, you gotta switch it up! backgrounds are you friend.
Overall a wonderful piece. You are improving so much and I'm amazing at every new piece you make <3

aha YEAH I tried like 3 different poses for him too, going for that greaser vibe etc so also glad you like that.
DAs fine I totally see what you mean about the smoke, I really wasn't sure how to make it look better tbh.
UM OKAY BACKGROUND MISSY I totally agree that I need to switch backgrounds up but for this one I actually had planned to use this background from the start cause I liked the really simple, clean background for this, especially since I wanted that speech bubble to stand out. ALSO I have no free time so backgrounds are actually NOT MY FRIENDS they are time consuming little shits.

I don't know why everyone hates on him, he was awesome! He was a jerk, but pffff big deal. His design and personality went really well together, "Greasers" were horndog jerks who's sole goal was to make it to homeplate xDD so I love him UwU <3

And while I did say comments are appreciated, I meant about the art.
Dislike him all you want, but commenting on someone's hard work is never the place to be hateful about your personal opinion of the character.

I love the pose and expression!! * 0 * It's really clearly communicated and captures the whole "greaser" thing well.
The folds in the clothes are really neat too, aahhh
I think you might want to work on more dynamic shading, though. A lot of the parts kind of... turn into just one solid midtone with just a little bit of shadow? Especially with the foreshortening on his right [our left] arm--part of how you communicate foreshortening like that is with the shading, and so it's not as easy to read when the coloring is this flat, I guess? Also, his facial proportions are a tad off. The actual parts of the face wouldn't be so.. smushed to the side, kind of? Again though, I think more shading would help it not look so flat and off, too.
But no seriously this is p great, ahhh! * u * The coloring on the horns is nice, too. Just wow nice picture
