Thoughts about the Character:

I thought Ayra would be a very rough character, aside from her looks there isn't anything 'female-like' in her (or so she says), she lived a life of poverty and fear while she grew up because the village she was born had it's own rules such as describing and separating the jobs males and females could do and so, all the women were forced to do their jobs perfectly and pray they would be protected in case of an attack, which not always happened because most males were very egoistic and not really fitted to protect someone, most were not very fond of fighting and so would prefer to guarantee their own safety than risk loosing their lives over protecting some people they may not really know.
Ayra first picked a weapon as she wanted to protect friends and family that were hiding in a cabin close to her, she fought with two bandits that scattered from the main band to pillage the village, the first one she killed easily as he was not expecting a woman to react that way but the second one was another story, back then, Ayra trembled with fear and her mind couldn't decided if it regretted or not her actions, she got really injured and she doesn't know how but she managed to kill the other bandit and as she was wondering if what she did was worth it while walking back to the cabin she was previously hiding, all her worries faded away as her friends and family hugged and thanked her from the bottom of their hearts, it didn't mattered anymore if she was hurt or if she was going to be banned from the village for breaking the rules none of it was more important than the safety of the people she loved.
In the end, she was severely punished by her transgression but Ayra couldn't care less, she finally understood that sometimes, you got to live by the rules but other times don't, she decided to learn all by herself the art of protecting people and she would teach everything she knew to anyone who wanted to fend for herself too, without discrimination of genre or social status
I believe that even tho Ayra were a very sensitive person, she had to put all her feelings to the side to protect her own heart because even tho some people understood what she did that day most would throw insults and more at her because she broke the rules, and in the end, Ayra became the very rough character is she now days who doesn't care about what others say or think about her
