Thoughts about the Character:

I thought Joshua would have an inner personality of being cold and cruel but he would never judge a book by it's cover, he usually treats most people cordially and has a very dignified character, he measures everyone and try to understand their actions. He really doesn't care if one person is rude to everyone else, if that person shows him respect he would do the same.
Joshua can be very vengeful and would never let an offender of his pride out of the hook (no matter how much the person begs) he prefers working alone but doesn't mind company sometimes, specially if his company can keep quiet and act quick, also, I believe he would be relentless in battle, almost if he turns into a totally different character (just keeping the cruel and cold part of his personality), he tries not to be reckless but getting injured doesn't scare Joshua one bit, and one cut or another isn't enough to stop him on his track, he is the kind a person who would get up and leave even right after serious injuries (he heals really faster tho, so is not like he leaves in any real pain)
