Thoughts about the Character:

I thought Mevius would be cold, serious and would do anything to banish all demons from this world. His goal is to eradicate all foul spirits who tempt and prey the weak. but, he actually wasn't like this all his life, Mevius used to be a very caring and kind priest who were specialized at exorcisms, he helped a lot of people and got rid of very powerful demons. His selfless actions earned him a very high rank within the church he served. But even tho he was high ranked and well liked it all crumbled one day. When some worried parents brought their little boy to the church, the boy was in a trance and whispering some weird language, Mevius knew at once he would need to exorcise the boy but the bishop at the church, forbade Mevius from doing it, the bishop knew about the demon who had possessed the child, it was a very powerful demon and to exorcise it would be too dangerous, the bishop told Mevius they would call the parents again telling them they would exorcise the boy but in reality they were going to kill the boy together with the demon inside him.
Mevius didn't agree with the bishop at all and when he went to 'kill' the boy, he actually tried to exorcise the kid, but the demon was really powerful and refused to leave the little boy, Mevius then made a deal with the demon, accepting him on his own body, the demon rejoiced at the idea of possessing a priest and quickly accepted the deal, he entered first in Mevius left arm (that was the arm in contact with the boy for the exorcism) and inflicted an indescribable pain on him but Mevius was prepared for the demon and even in pain, he was able to seal the demon so he would only consume his left arm and be imprisoned there.
Mevius saved the boy but because of it, the demon grew in his left arm making it look so grotesque few would dare approach Mevius, because of the demon inside him, he was expelled from the church and labelled as an heretic (they didn't even took into consideration all the things he did to help others, the church simply decided it was not possible for a possessed person to be part of their order). As times passes, Mevius became more serious and cold, and even him can't tell if this is because of the demon inside him or because of everything he went through, he also doesn't care too much about helping others, his main goal now is to kill more and more demons.
Also, even sealed the demon can talk to him in his mind and because of the possession Mevius became as strong as any demon alive.
