Thoughts about the Character:

I thought Ocianne would be kind of reserved, she doesn't like humans much (although she knows not every human is bad but she believes all of them have the potential to become an horrible being and she tries to keep her distance and advise other mermaid to do the same. She is not too old even tho she is quite mature, but it makes others (usually older mermaids) to doesn't listen to her properly because they think they know what they are doing/saying.
Ocianne would have known a very kind human who even tho she was trapped in his net, he let her go free, in gratitude, Ocianne helped him fish that day and he could take home a lot of food for his family. Ocianne had heard a lot of stories about mermaids who got sold and spend the rest of their lives in human tanks like animals, so that experience only made her think she needed to be even more careful, but I thought she would try to be nice without showing herself, she would help lost boats find the shore but she would never let them know she was helping them (I thought she would do so because even tho she doesn't like humans, she is kindhearted and doesn't like to see suffering.
