Thoughts about the Character:

I thought Ravena would be a deadly but reasonable spider woman who have the "survival of the fittest" motto and live by that truth no matter what, so, if you got entangled in her web you have two ways to be set free and walk home alive: you are either an extremely misunderstood creature who for some reason have absolutely nothing nor nowhere to go back to or you have such a big and cunning tongue that would amuse Ravena to the point she finds you too entertaining to die. Anything else, no matter how close you are from either group, will become spider-dinner and feed Ravena and possibly her brood at that moment.
A fun fact about Ravena is that almost everyone who is set free from her web end up staying or making a living close by her, she has, after all, a very dominant motherly instinct and would usually give advice and such to those beings, be it animal or humanoid, Ravena doesn't mind having them close by as long as they understand what she is and do not go poking around trying to "save" any of her food
