Thoughts about the Character:
Malila is a curious sea-monster who has always been intrigued by the dry-world, specially how there are many different kinds of clothes and accessories! Yes, it's true the mere-folk and sea creatures do not need any kind of garment but not everything in this life needs to be useful or have some deeper purpose! Malila has been creating outfits with some stuff from the dry-world she got, she is actually a great trader and has learned many things about negotiations and bargains over the time by dealing with all kinds of species, but she also uses pearls, coral pieces and other things from the sea! In the beginning, Malila suffered a lot of prejudice for trying to apply dry-world traditions to the people at sea but it didn't last long I assure you! As soon as the other sweet girls and women saw Malila's work they wanted nice clothes for them too!
