Thoughts about the Character:

I thought Veerke would have been born and raised a mercenary, that means she is very resourceful and would do anything possible to survive the battle, she would not sacrifice her comrades tho, she may be a bit rude and harsh with everyone else but no matter how useless the person is now, Veerke believes anyone can prove your worth in due time and so they all deserve to survive the day and have another chance tomorrow.
Veerke has some difficult to understand attitudes sometimes, because even tho she cares for her comrades she has zero ability to show it... actually I believe she has less than that because the more she respects and likes the person, the ruder she gets towards them, and her main way of showing her affection is sparing and training with the person she likes until they drop almost dead, I guess in a way Veerke believes she is helping the person she likes to become stronger and so have more chances of always coming back ok from the battles, after all, she better than anyone knows that the mercenary life isn't an easy one, and more often than not you see good soldier fall or being too injured to be treated, of course Veerke is very confident in her own abilities and perseverance but she isn't always so assertive about other people's battle affinity and so, like I said, in a certain way, she feels the best way to show her care and affection is by her deadly training routine.
