Description This was originally the sketch I had for auction on Furbuy. It closed without bids and I felt like painting, so here is the teaser of the finished (now G rated) piece!

This is a cropped version. If you want to see the whole thing you will have to buy my book which will be coming out later this year.

Watercolour and pencil on A4 arches hot press.

Eeeeehe! Very pretty! And you made a good choice on the cropping, I do very hope you are cropping more than not, however.

Not sure if you're referring to how much of the pic I am cropping or the amount of pieces I am cropping?

Avalik In reply to Ashalind [2009-04-12 02:39:26 +0000 UTC]

No no -- amount of a picture. I'm suggesting you should crop more than not cropping it... I mean, if you only cropped out a background with not much and a bit of body for example in this piece, when I/if someone buys the book they may be disappointed.

It's just a suggestion! I'd suggest cropping out important stuff, basically, or parts that may be of interest or that will cause curiosity. In this example, if it did not cut out half the body/head I would have cropped out most the hand for example... as that would be "oh I wonder what she is holding" kind of curiosity.

Yes, that's pretty much what I intended. This is only a sliver of the full image.

So the full version has a more adult rating?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Ashalind In reply to Onihikage [2009-04-11 22:14:36 +0000 UTC]

No, no. I decided not to make it adult at all so that I could include it in the book which is all G rated.
