What a terrible video game to end the partnership between Capcom and SNK. I played SNK vs Capcom Chaos religiously in the arcades because other than King Of Fighters titles such as 99 to 2002,there were not that many alternatives. There is a video game company called Akira made up of former Capcom employees. The fighting series
Fighting Layer is made up of Street Fighter Ex characters that now belong to them such as Blair Dame and Pullum Purna. Fighting Layer Ex has a SNK representative as a guest fighter by the name of Terry Bogard. That is as close to a modern Capcom vs SNK crossover we will ever get. It is so freaking amusing how Chun Li's battle dress does kind of resemble Mai Shiranui's crimson ninja gear. As if Chun-Li wants to show her rival Mai that she is not the least bit afraid of exposing plenty of skin like her.
Oh shit! I see that Mai and Chun-Li are emitting their respective auras while are staring at one another in such an intensive and serious manner. No playful banter or any small talk will be happening here. Nope. Mai and Chun-Li are extremely determined to put aside their differences to find out who is the far superior first lady of their respective video game series. May the best female win even though I will blatantly admit I am rooting for Mai Shiranui and SNK to come out on top.

I played the game much later and for only a day or two on an emulator
So there is no chance of getting a new SNK vs Capcom in the near future

Your welcome. There are the occasional topics I can get very passionate about and know plenty of information on. I go on proverbial rabbit holes doing research on subjects that interet me. I have no problem sharing my knowledge with others. Wikipedia coversthe basic information, but I also use the wikias to gather my information. The last Capcom fighting video game crossover Marvel vs Capcom Infinite was a massive disappointment. Thus Capcom is in no hurry to team up with another company and especially one they had a major falling out with. It is too bad. Capcom vs SNK 2 was a pretty stellar fighting title between two of the biggest rivals in the fighting genre.
