Description
The Legio Custodes are the elite personal guard of the Emperor of Mankind himself. With superior physiology and equipment to even the vaunted Legiones Astartes, the Emperor's Custodians march into battle wielding mighty Guardian Spears, or Sentinal Blades and mighty Storm Shields in the image of the golden Aquila. Every shot and every cut and thrust is perfectly placed, each individual Custodian bestrides the battlefield like a titan of war, with countless enemies falling at their feet.

I've gone for a traditional golden scheme for my standard bearer, with red and blue details standing out starkly against the shining armour plates. The larger base size has given me plenty of space to experiment with a winter theme which contrasts nicely.
