Cardan Greenbriar! A kind of character tarot card thing to match the one I drew for Jude last week

I always find it a bit difficult to visualise characters from books. For Cardan, I guess I imagined something like a more impish version of Tom Riddle from Chamber of Secrets? Idk, I’m still not quite happy with how his face turned out here…

His design here is based on this description from the Cruel Prince (minus the scowl haha): “Cardan is wearing his usual scowl, accessorized with kohl under his eyes and a circlet of gold in his midnight hair. He has on a long black coat with a high, jagged collar, the whole thing stitched with a pattern of constellations.”
