There isn't much in the world that hurts as bad as starting a story as it ends. But let me tell you, this comic, this Story, has pulled my heart in so many directions over the last few days (as I binge read it) that I canβt help but feel as though it has changed me in some way. Thank you for all the time and effort you have put into creating this Story.

Anyone else here very confused? I re-read the last page and all I got was that it has do with the fourth wall breaking. That and the hospital looks very familiar as well as some of the characters.

The person with the glasses is The Artist, but as the Artist exists both inside and outside of the narrative of the comic, I wanted to clear up that I (the artist) and my family are fine, unlike The Artist in the comic. The difference between real-for-the-comic and real-real is kind of fuzzy in earlier appearances.

Okay, that's good to hear that, even if it breaks the fourth wall, this is still fiction.
As for Easter Eggs... Well, you have to admit that the doctor is very familiar (Erlking), the children's hospital resembles an apartment building a bit, and that the woman with the hidden eyes looks pretty familiar.

That children's hospital looks suspiciously familiar, that's a very Eponine looking hat, seconding Dr. Earl O. King (clever) andΒ there's a very Christine sort of air about the young lady in the last panel.
