Description
For those not familiar with the man in the second panel: Nikola Tesla, as played by David Bowie, appears in the book and movie The Prestige. In an effort to make a teleportation machine, he instead creates a machine that makes an exact duplicate of something, only some distance away. Apparently, he's been tinkering with it some. This arc ends here; I'll leave it to your imaginations how (and if) any of the "copies" made it back to their original sources.
Coming next week: One of the most cracked out ideas I've had for the Roommates series. More than a little magic will be worked.

THAT WAS DAVID BOWIE? I had no clue he was in The Prestige. That's awesome.

It's been forever since you put this up, but I'm practically going to explode if I don't mention Bowie's part in "The Littlest Witch" a very little known film but one I happen to love.

Whoops, brainfart, wrong guy. I'd completely superimposed Bowie with Curry... maybe because I think he would have done a better job?

lol Yeah, when my boyfriend and I went to see The Prestige, it was actually kind of funny. We were both sitting there goiing "Who is that guy? He looks awfully familiar... I know that face..." And then 0n0!! *loud sharp gasp from us both* and then rather loud at the same time (forgetting we were in the theatre) "OHMIGAWD! It's DAVID BOWIE!" followed by many Oh My God's through the theatre as it suddenly clicked for everyone else. The movie then became one of my favorite movies. Simply because it starred David Bowie.

It was fascinating to compare his acting in that role to other roles.

As much as I love Bowie in The Prestige, I was kinda hoping you'd do his character John from The Hunger...oh well. ^-^

HAHA I knew it would be either Tesla or his character from The Man who Fell to Earth. Love this comic by the way, great stuff!

if you think about it...
you can still blame this on Jareth since his "copy" is making havoc.

'Erik's now running around...'
I now have a picture in my head of Erik, Dracula, Sparticus and uh, the other one, running around like headless chickens.
I am so going to draw it.

I have to be honest, I was kinda hanging out for a bit of Ziggy Stardust action in those last frames, but I guess he's not a movie character as such, so oh well.

...Sorry, I've been visiting cracked.com waaay too much lately, and they do indeed have quite a collection of articles on Tesela... and his amazing balls of fire.

He does a pretty good job of being totally different from anything else I've seen him in, even though if you listen, his voice hardly changes at all.
