Description
For those not familiar with the man in the second panel: Nikola Tesla, as played by David Bowie, appears in the book and movie The Prestige. In an effort to make a teleportation machine, he instead creates a machine that makes an exact duplicate of something, only some distance away. Apparently, he's been tinkering with it some.This arc ends here; I'll leave it to your imaginations how (and if) any of the "copies" made it back to their original sources.
Coming next week: One of the most cracked out ideas I've had for the Roommates series. More than a little magic will be worked.

As Tesla, he has a very different demeanor than the other characters for whom he's well known. It's easy to miss. I didn't recognize him at first, either.

Not to quibble (and it seems to be rather late for it), but what about Thomas Jerome Newton from "The Man Who Fell to Earth", his character in the vampire movie "The Hunger", Andy Warhol in "Basquiat", and not to mention Bowie's various onstage personae like Aladdin Sane, the Thin White Duke, and, of course, Ziggy Stardust?
Then again, with all of the other copies of the other roommates running around, it would have been a bit much.

If the copy machine ever makes a return, I'll be sure to take them under consideration. Bowie's pretty hard to draw to get him to look like himself though, at least for me, and I always worry he doesn't look... well, like himself.

I know. I was shocked too. I adored the movie, had no idea who Tesla is, you'd think the eyes would give it away, but I haven't seen it since it came out, and now that I know he's in it I've been dying to watch it again! (Well, it's an amazing movie anyway.)
