Ever read Zutara fanfiction (you know you did
), and no matter what, the two of them always end up in a lake/ocean/river/pond/puddle together. Well this is pretty much my take of that. Except mine looks more like a swamp and there about to have a water fight Just out of curiosity: What color is Zukos hair?
In the beginning, when it was in a pony tail, I thought it was black. Now, Im not sure if its because of the lighting used, but his hair is looking brown
EDIT: Oh yeah, I drew this and then realized that Zukos scar is supposed to be on the left side. Whoops. I was going to just simply flip it but after looking at it for hours that way it looks awkward when flipped (at least for me
). I also didn't use any references so if they looked messed up thats just one of the reasons

without the scar, he looks like Mako. So it's almost like Zutara and Makorra in one...probs sounds crazy, but I wouldn't worry about the scar thing. It's still great!

Well in winter, one's hair is normally darker because of the lack of sunlight and then by summer your hair is getting lighter because of the sun. So maybe the animators for going with realism. But I do agree his hair was black in the beginning and near the end it was getting brownish.
Anyways, this picture is awesome. I'm a fan of quite a few ships so I like this a lot. And you're right they do seem to end up somewhere in water....

so, i looked up 'awesome' in the dictionary and this picture was there.
Ok, so maybe 'awesome' doesn't quite fit it. This is definitely up to snuff
I love everything about this picture! You drew their body proportions very well, something i frequently struggle with, and i LOVE LOVE LOVE how you put the blue reflections on them! it adds so much depth to the picture! PLus i love the background it looks very calming and private
And of course, i want to thank you for making Zuko just so dang hot! 
p.s. I am very jealous of Katara right now

Well it does somewhat look like a swamp...a very lush, tropical swamp. Ha hah...their fanfiction always ends up either relating to the water or the moon. I actually really like this couple yet I'm happy he ended up with Mai

Flip the pic horizontally. Saves all my problems that have to do with crap being on the wrong side (unless I put the thumb on the wrong side).

YEAH HIS HAIR WAS BLACK!!! OMG!!! someone else noticed!!! i totaly thought it was black, i think even his description on wikipedia said black hair...it turned brown!! and next to mai's hair it looks blonde! lol. good, i'm not going crazy.

I've watched Avatar maybe, what, one? Twice? It was a good show, but I know nothing about it.
That's how fantastic this is. I know nothing about the characters, yet I love this. I'm a big fan of properly done anatomy - I love the way you shaded their muscle structures. The water and background look amazing, as well, and the playful expressions are adorable. Great job!

Actually if you hadn't said anything I would have taken it to mean Katara healed Zuko's scar and that part of his heart that felt unworthy of a girl's attention because of it. He's so liberated that he can have a playful water fight like a normal teenager and not be so uptight and perfectly royal all the time. She's made him more human in this pic. But since that wasn't the case oh well...
