As part of their training, Dr. Starline needed to see how his creations handled a water dominated environment. While Surge managed to carry herself admirable, it appears Kit suffered something of a setback. Well, fennecs are desert dwelling foxes.
There's just something funny to me about a guy with water powers having all the buoyancy of a cinder block. And though i don't know him very well, this seemslike the kind of oversight Starline would make.
