Description
As we all know that poverty is an international problem. This was a tribal man I spotted while travelling and something in him appealed to me. This is what I could come up with.Thank you for the time and support.

For me this shot is all about life and its frustrations. The mood on the subjects face is like he is quite annoyed of whats going around. The rough textures which sorrounds him is adding more drama to the them. How ever the bright lights speaks of some positiveness too on the other hand. Good work.

Well, yea, it may sound funny, but thats exactly what I asked him after taking his photograph... and well, yes, he was about to get smoked in a while.
It gets awfully chilly in Delhi in the evenings, and the poor have to drink and smoke cheap naroctics to 'survive'. It's a hard life.

Well yea, there's no way this kind of an effect could've been achieved without some post processing.
I used the burn and the dodge tools on this one. I minimised the use of PS to the best of my ability.

Ummm... photomanipulation is different. It's the kind of work in which you combine two or more photographs/graphics together.
What you see here is called 'post- processing'.
There is very little photography today that has not been post processed, and all the photographers do it. That doesn't make the photo a photomanipulation work. It's still photography

that many photographers do it, doesn't mean that it is still a photo. i mean. you manipulated this photo, so it's a photomanipulation. simple as that!

this is a great photo but i'm not sure if i find him suffering. yeah, in his state it must be hard and so i've searched for suffering in his eyes but i could see more of "determination", the determination to live, maybe that's what appealed you. anyway this is just what i saw, you don't need to believe me nyahaha...

I really like this image. It shows the fierce determination of the oppressed. The lighting around him gives the aura that God is watching over him. IMHO It kinda has that Dragan look, but has it naturally. The line does kind of distract some but the pull of the look in his eyes is stronger and captivating. Great shot!
