One thing I was experimenting as well with was the making of landscape style pieces. This one of a graveyard I really had no references for but I just kind of imagined it. It worked very nicely but I should have studied the rule about how color affects distance visuals in terms of color, someone told me it should be lighter as it went further back so that's what I ended up doing.
