Description
After Chime had gotten herself cleaned up and Alma had taken her back to the nook, she hadn't been thrilled with the lack of the ability to be able to romp around in the forest. However, Chime was quite ecstatic to see Azimuth and Mistysky making their way through the nook. Her eyes lit up with excitement then quickly switched to confusion for Mistysky was accompanied by two wynglings, Azimuth, and a Purple wyngling she didnt recognize. She too, had the multicolored eyes. Azimuth made a beeline straight for Chime, greeting her with cheer. The unknown wyngling hid behind the legs of Mistysky. The blue bipedal pushed the little nervous wyngling forward, trying to encourage her, but it seemed to only make her more nervous.
"Oh!" Azimuth remembered, turning his head to the wyngling. "This is Kora!" He chirped happily. Kora's body shrank with fear as she saw both Chime and Azimuth had their eyes on her.
"H-hi..." She spoke, shyly.
"Hi Kora!" Chime replied in a musical tone. "I'm Chime! I like your flower crown! I have something like it," She added, pointing to her little craft project. Chime's reassuring and cheerful tone eased the wynglings body ever so slightly
"thank you.. thats cool." Kora walked under the table to where Azimuth and Chime were positioned, taking a seat next to them. They talked for a while underneath that brown table until they all decided to head back to the one spot in the forest, that little clearing outside the Nook. Chime explained how this was her favorite spot to Kora, and Kora agreed it was a nice place as the three of them sat down in the middle of it. Chime spotted some blue flowers in the distance, her mind conjuring a great scheme. She leaned over to Kora and whispered something into her ear.
"What if we go and make a flower necklace for Azimuth so he can match us?" Kora smiled at the idea.
"Yeah! We'd be all matchy n stuff!" Kora exclaimed in a whisper. they both nodded to one another and began to stand up.
"Uh, we'll be right back Azimuth, stay here." Azimuth seemed puzzled by Chime's suspicious comment, but before he could ask why, the two had bolted away into another section of the forest. Azimuth sighed, looking confusedly in the direction they had ran off into.
A few minutes pass, and Azimuth was just about to be worried when the two of them come running around the corner, startling him as both skidded to a halt right in front of him and put something onto his neck. As he looked down, he noticed it was a little necklace of flowers.
"We made it just for you!" Chime chirped in her cheerful-singing tone.
" So you could match us!" Kora added. A big smile spread across Azimuth's face.
"Thanks, guys, this is really well made." Azimuth said, admiring the little gift his friends had made him. Chime and Kora's faces both spread to Azimuths contagious smile.
"The flowers probably wont last long, but-" Chime started.
" It doesnt matter. I love it anway. Thank you guys." Azimuth interrupted.
The two were so happy to see their friend so cheerful. Kora and Chime gave one another a victorious high five.
