In response toGrayson had been sulking and staying in the shadows ever since the bullying had started. He had not spoken to Alma in weeks. He didnt want to. It would show he was weak.
In the midst of his brooding, someone had slipped a note to him. It was too dark for him to be able to see who or what had given him the note, but he wasnt sure he wanted to know. He could barely make out the words, but his eyes narrowed as he read.
"What is with these wynglings and trying to pity me?!" He threw the note on the ground and stepped on it, seething. He didnt need their pity. He didnt need anything from them.
"Tch, as if I'd even get near you." he scoffed at the request and walked off deeper into the shadows.
What he didnt know was that someone else would wander along and find the note a little after he left.
