At a first glance, it is very obvious how unapproachable Miya is. Her face seems to almost always be stuck in a glare, which is an outward interpretation of her everlasting anger. She rarely smiles unless it is done in a sarcastic way or as a representation of her increased anger. Likewise, her words are never much happier either. They're never filtered and she says exactly what she's thinking, just as she does 100% what she wants, representing her unrestrained personality. Her words could be a threat, an insult, or a complaint that could show more of her gloomy side. She's not much of a positive thinker.

Aside from all of this, Miya's very clever and observant. More of an introvert, she likes to watch people rather than taking a part in the fun. She also loves to study how people react to different things, sometimes experimenting herself by saying certain things in a conversation to see what type of reaction she'll get in response. Her mind is always turning and thinking. It's very easy for her to get around a problem, it's just that usually she doesn't care enough to do so or help out others despite seeing the solution to their problem. Another thing about Miya is that she's rather orderly and organized. Everything she has is put in an order that she works best with. This goes for her thought process as well. She rarely ever moves or does anything without a premeditated plan.

History:
Maya was born the oldest out of six siblings right in Pokeyo where she'd always been. Her family to begin with never had much of anything to survive. They worked with what they could work with, despite the increasing numbers in their family size. Her mother had always been a hard worker and did what she could to pass that on to her eldest despite the disability that she was born with. Maya, having been born completely blind, had already began getting some problems that was more than what she was born with. Maya's father was more than aware of their family's situation, though and made sure that everyone knew it. His idea of children were things that were going to essentially help him earn more money so that they could live more comfortably as they would eventually be old enough to provide some type of income. Maya was not born the way that he wanted her, so he often gave her a hard time for it. Which was also the reason why their family began to grow more. Maya's mother, although she never spoke of these things in her father's presence, would always encourage her daughter to do whatever it was that she wanted however it was that she wanted. This created a somewhat fearless Maya and someone who would always be in trouble with her father because of it, as well as, because of her father's actions, created a very angry and defensive girl. What her mother also never shared with her until the last minute was that she would be able to see soon.

Around the time Maya was ten she began looking for ways to help her mother and their struggling family. There wasn't much that she could do both because of her age and because of her inability to see. What she did find was that she could always do some type of house or yard work for pay. Of course it wasn't much at all, but she accepted whatever she got. Needs always came first. Around this time was also the time that Maya would be surprised with a surgery and a new ability. How her mother could afford to get such advanced prosthetic eyes at this moment was beyond Maya's comprehension, but in time she was able to see. For a while she was happier than she could ever remember being and so was her father. She still worked when she could and worked through her therapy to learn to use her eyes better and better.

A few years later, around the time that Maya was sixteen, she learned that whatever money that her mother used was never her own. It was something that needed to be repaid and it was something none of them could ever dream of repaying. A gift from a new friend that her mother had met at the time. Someone who made, or what Maya believes is given, something they could never hope to achieving. At this point her family was as big as ever and her father was finally beginning to realize how foolish his aspirations were. He was angry at her mother for doing such a thing and saw it as something that would never be solved and should not have ever have happened. This led him to abandoning his family to do what Maya assumes is to restart. Maya abandoned what she had left of her schooling to dedicate her time to working and helping pay her mother's debt so her mother could care for her family more.

Currently, she has labelled herself as a housemaid and works both for those that can't afford fancy robots to take care of them and for those who can afford hundreds of fancy things but just want a personal touch to their homes and lives. She rarely takes the time to indulge in hobbies or extra activities.
