god, when I was like 15 someone showed me this book of journal pages this guy did, that was killed in Africa or something, and I loved it, but completely forgot about it! I just googled his name, it's GOTTA be Dan Eldon I saw back then...
wow, thanks for showing me this guy, I wonder if I would have ever ran into his work again...?
I'm going to go look through his stuff now.

Yeah... someone pointed him out to me in high school after seeing my books.
I think she called him my soul mate - but then she broke the news that he was dead. : /
I'm fan of his art and all of the work his family does - so I thought I would pass him along.
