haruko is sakura's childhood friend she kind of a wild girl, perverted sometimes and loves playing match maker with nuriko she's not a suzaku warrior or anything but she has very good intuition she is a tough girl but not as strong heart ed like sakura her goal is to become captain of the kendo team she's not a very good student in studies but she's a good athlete she supports sakura with her student elections she dosen't like yuya (the antagonist of the story) that much or at all because she senses that something is wrong about him her crush is tasuki when her and tasuki first met they didn't get along with eachother but she later starts falling in love with him but doesn't wanna admit it.
