But seriously...this happens so much on DeviantART with Me for so long,
I dunno why I bother, I mean even fat fur loving fans like Me move on from one franchise,
to like another, I mean I made Danger Mouse fat because
I'm getting put off from doing Sonic art all together, plus; it's nothing seen before,
all I wanna do is be different. ...Is that a crime? Is it not decent?! XD;

I can relate, majority of the time my fetish art gets a lot of faves but when I wanna do something normal nobody really looks at them. It does suck. But I do wanna expand more on normal artwork plus continue doing fetish art since its just something I like to do for fun. I just enjoy doing this stuff because it gives me something to do and I think its a good way to try with new things.Β
Majorly I quit doing Sonic art since I got out of the fandom and moved on to other things, plus it was getting a little repetitive and bland. So far i've improved since then, trying and experimenting with new things. I got two characters i'm working on currently that might not be the best but I'm proud i'm going for more of my own ideas.
So theirs nuthin' wrong with being different. >w< Sure a lot of stuff people do on here is weird, just do what you like. Even me, I know my stuff is odd but I like doing it because its something fun and helped me get better.
Just draw what you want. Its much more meaningful when you enjoy doing it. ^^Β

it's just filled up with strange fetish and fanarts. Either Deviantart has gone shit or other reason which I don't know what the hell it is
However, what I can say is that you gotta do whatever you want ^^ Don't let people take control of you, you gotta stand up for what you believe in.
I stopped drawing sonic because I wanted to do something different and it take me to whole new level to boost my art skills up ^^
that is what it lead me to present for who I am. Sure, I'm currently inactive with artworks at the moment because of project im working on.
back to topic, I feel this does applies to ANY websites, fanart is only way to get yourself to become known artist and trying to be active
I do understand that people enjoy doing fanarts and I'm down with that, since I'm one of them.Β
However I decided that original works is best way to expand your skills further onto writing story, developing characters and many more.
Artists with original work deserve more love, to be frank. Nowaday people only do fanart or write fanfic for tendy game like Baldi and Bendy.
Again, I have no problem with that, I like seeing people enjoy what they do. Although I worry for artists that make fanart to make people happy
To me, that is not helping artists to feel better, instead people weightin onto artists even more :/ it even harm their well-being which I'm concerned.
My point is that you can draw whatever you want and what make you feel happy to do so ^^ I support you all the way, buddy!
Be true to yourself, I am proud of you to standing up for what you're saying, that take a lots of courage to do so.

I guess I felt weighed down by the Sonic fanart,
and felt it needed no more of it to give, unless it's something you REALLY like.
Sonic Forces, I enjoyed it, decent reviews, story could've been better...But enjoyed it.
As for the DM art I constantly do, let's just say between
Danger Mouse and Sonic in my childhood, DM holds the most citrus in his grapefruits.
Plus; he's about 10 years older to when Sonic came out? Even the same year as Mario!
