I think this is the road that we were driving on and it was nothing, just fields all around us and all of a sudden it came up over a slight, very slight hill and looked like the road completely disappeared. But upon driving closer you could see the road continued in through a large patch of trees set in the middle of nowhere. It was a very interesting drive.

Thank you, I liked how stark it was. It turned out that way because it was so bright and the road was pretty white/chalky to begin with.
