I'm going to add more to this reference, but I wanted to upload what I had first. I wish I could get the back of his head to work though. Love his hair from the sides and front- I do not love it from the back!

Bakari is a young adult hyena born into the Jiwe clan under the tyrannical leadership of Queen Kamili and her two sisters. Fearing getting hurt, he is completely submissive and doesn his best to avoid conflict. Because of this, he hardly eats, even waiting until his more aggressive clanmates eat before taking a bite. Being born into the clan and knowing nothing else, he and the others feel helpless to the abuse of the Queen. He feels he could never leave on his own, due to the dangers outside the relative "safety" of a clan, and because he considers most of the clan family and would not want to leave them. His love interest is Asani, who tries to support him and embolden him to stand up for himself.
