I simply adore this! So completely simple and yet sooooo evocative! I love the choice to make the rain red. And even though you have a remarkably simple figure, you convey so much personality with those slumped shoulders and posture. Also loving the little red droplets, especially as they are used to define the white pace that is the top of the umbrella. And that little bit of thickness to the border beneath the figure? Brilliant. (Also interesting that of all your rain lines, they are all solid except for two of them, one on each side of the figure.) I really LOVE this piece.
