this is the start of a new series i'm working on to help with my art skills and to show my love for this series. i grew up with TLOS and in recent years it's become a comfort game for me, though looking past the nostalgia the games felt pretty empty so i'm going to be rewriting the trilogy into a detailed dark story.
|Important!| i just want to say that there will be a lot of writing and i'm not the best at that so it may come across as some crazy ramblings, though I'll try to improve over the course of this.

|Reignited legends| in the year of the dragon, in the realm beyond realms, the purple egg of prophecy lays dormant upon a golden pedestal. all the eggs are illuminated by a small pool of magic. the sound of moving stone surrounds the room as a fire dragon walks in. he looks upon all the eggs until he stops at the purple egg. he gazes upon it wondering what great things this little creature could bring. his thoughts are stopped by a sudden bang and the rumbling of the temple. he looks up to the glass ceiling only to be met with elemental magic and creatures of darkness flying above the temple, a large ghoulish bat creature falls through the glass.

the stone door slides open as a short electric dragon runs in with two other elders behind him both of wind and water. "save them, the dark armies have come" he urges as the dragons fly out of the room and into the raging battle above. the fire dragon looks around the room at all the hundreds of eggs, what was he to do? knowing he could only save one he grabbed the purple egg and ran out of the room. in the halls of the temple hundreds of dragons mostly dragonlings rush passed him in panic, if any of these young dragons were to enter battle none would make thought the fire dragon, he looked away not letting the though of their deaths impact him. he breathed fire upon a door leading to a secret passage and flew down into the depths of the temple.
