Love is difficult, confusing, and at times super frustrating. I am a chronic over-thinker, I get way too deep in my mind about this sh*t. I go through cycles being just happy with who I am and how I see relationships until someone (typically an extended family member) gives me crp for not fitting in. No clue why, but in my family's case when us cousins hit our 20's our extended family puts so much pressure on us to settle down. It really screwed with my head over the holidays which is why I made this. I am finally becoming confident and comfortable with how I see things and I plan on next year holding onto that confidence and not letting their bullsh*t comments get to me😇

This is another piece for my AJR's lyric series. This is from their song Turning Out part 3 in their newest album. I love how it talks about the pressure put on us to conform and fit into the stereotypical romantic relationship style. How it's not always like what we saw on TV or what we have been told and that's okay.

(little side note I found amusing, I named this piece over thinker and I ended up rewriting this damn description probably 5 times 😂)
