Handy for escaping AND killing them. XD I'd be careful with the zombie kids though, too many people out there have a problem with that sort of thing.
Not me, it's bad yeah for kids to be killed, but that's how it is. Kids aren't spared from ravenous zombies or the virus.

Really nice! ... but... yourself should know better that it wouldn't save you from Spitter's acid, Howler's scream or Basilisk's glare... although after a while the ball might be bloody blurry to see anything that look like a glare. ^.-
