I see what you're getting at with the semblance comparison to Sun, though it's more of a combination of his and Blake's. The difference is that Elizabeth can operate at the same time as her clones, while Sun has to remain still. Also, I think Sun's clones are a bit more durable than Elizabeth's. Her name and semblance actually came from Z Delgado from Power Rangers SPD (I'm a large fan of PR as a whole, which is where all bar 2 names of my RWBY OCs came from, and no, I haven't posted them yet).
Other than that, glad you like her design! I'll admit the others are a bit plain tbh, though I may make some additional designs for at least Team DMND.

Wait are the characters with PR-inspired names organized in some way? You know by role, iteration, or ranger color. Like there would be a team of characters with Mentor names, inspired by SPD, or names inspired by the Green Rangers etc. 

Also thanks for clarifying how her semblance works. I'm in the midst of designing a character with a clone semblance as well and it's interesting looking at how people make their version unique.

There's no real pattern to the names, though I do try to limit it to 1 Ranger per season per team. The PR naming idea was just to save the effort of finding a unique, colour-themed name. It also helped me to come up with semblances for some characters [Dillon-Kinetic Shield (RPM), Elizabeth-Duplicates (SPD), Charles-Electricity Generation (Mystic Force), Rose-Invisibility (Operation Overdrive)].
