If they are that frequent, what you need is a UPS. Uninterpretable power supply. Has surge protector functions and switches things over to internal sealed lead acid battery power for a short time. I have a 3000VA system for the gaming pc and LCD. However I believe 300-800VA systems are extremely common and sufficient in most cases.
