Well we the Anatolian Turks has a very mixed dna right now we have mostly Mediterranean and Caucasian genes. Btw it's true that Seljuk-Ottoman has a very big influence of Arab-Persian culture. Arabs are the continuation of Prophet Noah's son Sam and Asians are the descents of Japheth. How do I know it well from some phrase's of Prophet Mohammed( S.A.V.) and trustworthy Islam Commentaries.
According to them and our beloved Prophet, before Noah's death he divided world to 3 pieces for his sons Ham,Sam and Japheth. Ham is the ancestor of Africans, Sam is the ancestor of Arabs,Jews and Japheth is the father of Asians and some of Europe and Greeks.

This. Is. Amazing! And beautiful. I love the braids in Twilight's mane and tail, as well as the ones around her ear; very clever! And Owlowiscious...Oh wow, Owlowiscious looks so boss! He also reminds me of the Sultan from Aladdin. The palace in the background also reminds me of that movie. Is this piece kind of paying tribute to it, I wonder? Anyway, it's a wonderful piece! Perhaps you could try drawing the rest of the Mane 6 in this style? That might be tricky, but it would certainly look cool!
