And what colours the GIF takes depends on how you convert. You CAN get it to keep them all but it'd be a massive file. You can also hand-pick them but that's pretty awkward... I think this turned out quite stylish anyway!

Since GIF format allows for a very small format for each picture, it is quite inevitable that the colors become grainy. You can try swf or apng.

Now that is amazing. Love the concept of the character. Even if the Gif kinda changed the pic, its still amazing how the Metamorphosis works for this character. I'm sorry you went through the trouble of making it.
