Description
Another try to draw pony in more realistic way. I wanted to make pegasi to look more like a flying creature, not just a pony with wings. But I didn't think of anything more than to add feathers. She can wiggle feathers behind her ears very cute)

That isn't the wings, but just soime additional feathers to improve maneuverability)))

But why? The pegasus of Greek mythology was portrayed as nothing more than a horse with wings (That could fly, of course). There's no need to change it, because it was historically accurate.

Too many? Don't be silly. Feathers help you fly, so more feathers make you fly faster.

It's really cute, though, and this might be my favorite attempt I've seen for making pegasi a little more... avian. Any thoughts of drawing Fluttershy similarly? I liked your last picture of her quite a bit as it was, but I bet she'd look pretty with this style.

I actually ponified a bird, which turned out really interesting, but it worked out pretty well. the tail was key, I added feathers instead. but on dash, you could do them over the tail.
