okay time to critique more art
So,I've like both of them,but Rarity looks much stronger/bigger/powerful.Nightmare's background is plain,I prefer Raritys.Rarity's eye doesn't look like a diamond,but I can't see clearly.Both mane's looks just same as the original.I still haven't read the comic about NGHTMRE Rarity,but I like how she is going to be like Luna.Horns need more practicing.Rarity's nose is a little big there,Looks like a colt.Stallion.
Nightmare Moons armor (head) should be more "under" to her eye or mouth.I still like the art,keep it up.Also,don't be to "patternry" on the armors.It looks like there are flowers or something else over there,but I think it's your style,but still,keep it up!

Impressive work, but i do believe that since Nightmare Moon is the mad version of Luna, she should be slightly bigger than she currently is. The way you have it, it looks like Rarity is stronger then Luna.
Other than that, the workmanship put into this piece is superb. The brush tecniques draw the eye to different areas of the painting, the blending of the manes is masterful, and the angry looks within each mare's eyes speaks volumes about their inner thoughts. i would love to see more of these versions of the other mane six , and i hope you continue your work here on DA.

Nightmare Rarity, because she is reformed to rule for the nightmare forces, she wants to conquer Ponyville.
Nightmare Moon just wants eternal night and rule Equestria.
Rarity just wants Ponyville, Nightmare wants Equestria...
Nightmare Moon feels like the true ruler of Equestria.
I would say Nightmare Rarity is in true ruler of Nightmares.
