Sonya: *She shivered in the strong winds as it pulled at her. She knew it would have been stupid to attempt to go outside in such a weather but she did it anyway. Making her way back to her beach hut, that she hoped hadn't been damaged from the oncoming storm, she saw a figure at the shoreline. Taken aback by someone as brazen as her to be outdoors, she stopped in her tracks. Hugging her arms close, she shivered once more.  " Yo, buddy! Whatcha doing out here?!?"

*North glanced around as he heard someone shouting over the monstrous din produced by the storm. He turned and saw a girl, bronzed with a golden tan, staring at him from across the beach and bracing herself against the gusting winds. The wind teenager smiles jovially and calls back.* I've never felt the South Wind before! *He says this as though it were the most obvious thing in the world before turning back around to watch the storm again. He spreads his arms out wide relishing in the sheer power gale force winds. Off int the far distance a crack of lightning pierces the skies followed very shortly by a thunderous boom.*

Sonya: *She stared, dumbfounded at the boy. Who could take such pleasure in something like the wind? She took a few steps forward, as much as the storm seemed to not want her to. Blazes, she hated storms, monsoons or anything of this degree. As the lightening struck, she jumped and let out a quiet yelp, but covered it up to be a cough.  She started to walk away but turned back once more, curious as to why he stood there. Pacing back and forth undecided, she finally let out a frustrated sigh before stomping her feet in the sand and continuing to do so until she stood a few feet away from him.*  "This is the worst time to be admiring something like that! The suns not even out! "

*North blinks as the girl has gotten closer and is now yelling at him. He puts his arms down and turns to look at her. Why did she care anyway? It wasn't like he was her problem. Yet somehow his behavior had upset her. Maybe he had gone against some social convention or something. You never could tell with Oooians. North sheepishly scratches the back of his head as he asks her over the howling winds of the storm.* Well I'm sorry but when else am I supposed to do it? I only just got here a few hours ago and... THIS is going on! *He gestures out to the storm before saying.* Seemed like the perfect opportunity to me. *Lightning streaks across the sky once again, this time flowing from cloud to cloud.*

Sonya: *She wiped her hand across her shades, trying to see better. She couldn't really make out his expression but from the gestures he was doing, he seemed a bit hurt* "Aw c'mon man! Don't take anything toooooo personal. Lo- Look! The weather just aint great today, and you just got unlucky with the date pickin'. " *The lightening stuck, and Sonya flinched shuddering from the cold and the storm. The weather was picking up, still looking ugly and was only getting worse.

*North looks a little surprised as she flinches with the thunderous crack. Was she afraid of the lightning? He glances out across the ocean as another bolt rips apart the sky before dissipating with a loud clap. It hadn't occurred to North that others might see this storm as bad. He was a wind person after all. Storms like this were fairly normal in his territory. But the more he thought about it, the more it made sense. After all, she couldn't very well ride the air currents away. She probably had a home here somewhere. So, he decides it would be better to go with the flow as he smiles and tells her.* I suppose you're right. Do you know anywhere I could go to get out of this storm?

Sonya: She watched him as he looked from her then out to the storm, worsening with each passing second. She desperately wanted to get inside and away from the cold, and horrendous weather. Kicking the wet sand from her feet, she looked down to watch the waves crash close to her feet. Sonya took an uncertain step back and looked up just in time for her to catch him smiling at her. " Ah well-"

Oh glob. She hadn't really anticipated him asking her something like this. All she wanted to do was talk some sense in this guy, maybe send him back to whatever cave or hole he had crawled outta and go on her way home. No way could she invite him to her home. That was outta the question. 

"I bet theres some sorta cover round here somewhere for ya! Ju- Just gotta look hard for it!"

*North blinked at her a few times as she yelled over the storm. Not entirely understanding what he had just implied North is a little put off by her harried answer. Still he shrugs and says in a placating voice.* Yeah I'll be sure to do that. Anyway you should probably get home. This storm is about to get a lot worse. *He smiles again and turns back towards the ocean to continue watching the incoming wind and rain. Although he had told her he would he honestly had no intention of leaving. Finding a hotel was gonna be a lot of work in this weather. Especially with his limited funds. Besides, he hadn't even seen the best part yet! The corners of his already smiling mouth lift up a bit higher in anticipation.*
