Not canon in the western release, and with the N Sane Trilogy, it looks like it may no longer be canon anywhere. Back in the day she was forcefully removed because of universal an Sony of Japan, both of which no longer have a say.

Yes, in the manga, Crash finds the letter and cries, when Coco walks into Crash's house, he mistakes her for Tawna, after that he trained to be better and get a better girlfriend, that is why he can do new things in Crash 2.

Yeah, but it mostly just pisses me OFF!
I mean... The dude runs all around the Wumpa archipelago to free this girl, then she just dumps him in less than a year for some creep that was helping hold her hostage... W...T...F! Japan could have come up with a better excuse than THAT S%@#!!!

Lets just PRAY TO GOD, OUR LORD, that they treat her right this time around!
