I just love the way the atmosphere looks in this and the excellent of portrayals of Darkrai in both lights. Β In the first, it kind of reminds me of Alucard from Hellsing as well as the Castlevania one with how it shows just the back of its head, and even more so when you actually show his face. Β That is a beautiful use of shadows. Β Then in the last portrayal, all of that terror is simply gone and replaced with nothing but a pure kindness that I think all Darkrai have, yet are never able to show it because people are so scared off by them.
Always love each and every Darkrai work you do.

I think this artwork sums up the very essence of Darkrai perfectly. Outwardly ominous, considered a malevolent entity by so many due to first impressions and its intense power - but deep down, a gentle soul cursed with an ability which it can't quite control, one that causes it more trouble than it's worth, and a loyal ally if you can get past everything. My congratulations to you on this.
