Okay! Well, I remember it going like this...
I was out, y'know, hunting and stuff... I was along the shores, and saw some kinda boat coming over. I hid and watched from behind some boulders, and the people on the boat... it was Iceland and Norway! Well I didn't know that right then, anyways. So then they tried to settle here, while I remained hidden and only watched. But their settlements completely disappeared somewhere in the 14th or 15th century... Probably because my land was too cold and because my people, the Inuit, didn't like 'm that much... before they left though, I did manage to introduce myself! I thought they were pretty nice... <8D
Then after that, Denmark came. He started the settlement of GodthΓ₯b, or as I called it, Nuuk! I visited often since the place was doing well in terms of surviving, even started trading. And then we got closer and closer, and he told me stories about the Vikings... he and Iceland & Norway are so awesome! Especially his adventures, which was why I started looking up to him and called him storebror and stuff...
