Admin: I think I'm just going to explain these a little bit...mostly because I'm a big dog person. (they're my second favorite animal...only second to horses.)

Germany: The German Shepherd . Germany has a VERY wide variety of dogs...but the problem is...so does Britain =_= I was going to have Germany say that he likes both the Golden Retriever AND the German Shepherd, but the Golden Retriever is from Britain. o-o So...why Germany owns a Golden Retriever in Hetalia, I will never know. My sister said I could still include the Golden Retriever, but I wanted to stay within the country (excluding France, but I'll get to him xD) I also could have chosen so many more dogs, but I chose the German Shepherd because...well when someone thinks of German dogs, this is the breed they think of. That, and I think Germany actually owns one. It's not shown as often as the retriever, but I think I've seen Germany with one.

America: The Yellow Labrador Retriever . I've noticed this dog is VERY popular here in the US. I don't exactly know why...they're not MY particular favorite dog breed. They're kind of messy...and a little plain in looks >.> I know they're sweet but...they pee all over! D= I actually prefer Black Labs and Chocolate Labs...but this isn't about ME...it's about what's most popular in America. v.v

Russia: The Borzoi or the Siberian Husky . I know most people would have chosen the Siberian Husky right off the bat, and I would have, too (they're one of my favorite dog breeds), but one day I was looking through dog breeds and I saw the Borzoi. I thought it was sooo cool and I noticed it was also from Russia. So...to make it fair I just had Russia choose both x3

Sweden: The Swedish Vallhund . I have to be honest with you...I knew of NO Swedish dogs until today. So, I just went to google Swedish dogs...but...when I typed "Swedish..." in google search, before I could even type in "...dog breeds", it recommended the "Swedish Vallhund". I typed in nothing about dogs when this dog popped up. Then, I decided to just continue with typing in "Swedish dog breeds" and still...the Swedish Vallhund was EVERYWHERE! So I figured that this was probably the dog I should use. x3

France: The Poodle . .......I was...SO suprised when I found out that this dog...WASN'T originally from France o-o. In fact, I was even MORE suprised when I found out that this breed was German. Since then, I came up with a head canon: The Poodle was originally a very scraggly dog (which they actually are when they haven't been groomed...but I actually find them cuter when they haven't), but Germany was very proud of him. France, however, saw this dog and was terrified (hence France having nightmares about "Germany's dog"). So he was determined to make this dog actually look good. And then...he did...what he did. France was SO proud of himself...but poor Germany was horrified. xD

Alright, I apologize for the long rant, but I...don't know. xD I guess I had to give explanations just in case another big dog person happened upon this *is excuse to rant about dogs and really doesn't think this will happen*.
