He doesn't remember how he was made, the first memory upon waking is a blur but he recalls a mass of dark red hair and the word "Garbage". He believes that's what his creator named him and it stuck. He was picked up by a farmer believing him to be a regular scarecrow, despite the confusion he still agreed to help the farmer. After some friendly advice, he set off in search of his creator; Garbage is extremely naive as he doesn't see any reason not to trust someone. Any stranger is a potential friend and a victim to his affectionate nature, he does not know what personal space is. AT ALL. He greets anyone and everyone with bear hugs and kind words. Garbage isn't put off by horrible attitudes, instead feeling like that stranger needs a friend more than ever. Despite being friendly with everyone he meets, he still gets himself in trouble with villagers who believe an evil witch or being gave him life.
Things to know
+ He is alive through dark magic and when he is in a dangerous situation, it protects him without him doing anything.
+The sword of his chest was a "gift" from the last town he visited. In reality the people there wanted to kill him but to no avail.
+He hacks up entire crows from time to time.

Kind of ironic that his 'father' is named Corvus and corvus is another word for crow/raven. And he's a scarecrow.
I'm actually surprised Corvus hasn't tried to make a daughter yet.
It would be hilarious if he just had a dozen children he discarded under the assumption they were lifeless trash and they just show up randomly at his place. XD))

Thats why no farmers keep him. The crows just mysteriously multiply when Gar is around.
That and he probably talks to the inanimate scarecrows for hours on end, not being where he should be.
awww, its kinda sweet that Corvus wants August back so much that he's stopped making 'children'. He's just a papa that has empty nest syndrome.
That would be hilarious if his 'failed' children just keep managing to find him and show up at his house at random. Every time he gets excited by the thought that August could finally be at the door only for it to be his earlier creations that he despises.
Garbage and August are cutie pies. I can only imagine the horrors any earlier attempts to create life could look like.))

Oh nonono, it's more along the lines of he wants to strip August of his free will and use him as a puppet so that he can be reused over and over as a protagonist in Corvus' stories. That was his original plan when he made August but then stuff happened
He just gets angrier and angrier, having to slam the door to all his failed creations who call him dad. No matter where he moves they eventually find him
OH MAnnnn now that you mention it, Garbage and August would probably be the most human looking out of the lot if he did have earlier attempts ))

I can picture an angry farmer finding Gar cuddling up to another one his scarecrows, or even cutting free all of the other scarecrows in the feild and positioning them in tea party esque poses and having friendly chats with them all, and the farmer's like 'what that hell is this? This scarecrow boy is demon possesed.' XD

His hair becomes an extra pocket for her, it's full of yarn and bugs
