gonna give some cool info about his parents and Miraz culture first actually.
His mom studies illnesses and genes and all that kind of blah
his dad is a veterinarian

Miraz culture is kind of a more judgmental society. Not many boys are born with white hair and black eyes. ( yes this is kind of what roy's face looks like ) Sooooo society is kind of a butt with "mutations" and such. Normally try to dispose of children that have this rare trait.
to deal with other people finding out about his physical characteristics his mom and dad dyed his hair, but they couldn't really do much at the time for his eye color.
