Word travels fast in the tree, especially for those who always have a keen ear out for it. From radio broadcasts to passing conversation on the street - not much escaped Dandelion’s ever-curious ears.

This time? Blights.

Apparently these innocent-looking free candies had the potential to spread illness. Looking down at the presumably lime-flavoured boiled sweet still sitting in his paw, Dande knew exactly where it needed to go. Directly to the Head of Virology - one Vanitas Aruna Dooley. The disappointment of it not being at least some kind of soft candy had long since worn off as he realised just what a gift he had been given. This would impress his Lune’s boss for sure! She was going to be so proud of him!

Plus, if it was of a tainted batch then he would save himself the grief of having to drink blood of all things while he recovered from such a nasty disease. Perish the thought. He would simply get his midday snack elsewhere. For now, someone very tall, very fluffy and very dark caught his eye. Bingo.
